3. How Each App Handles Information
The information each app handles depends on the features you use, the device permissions you grant, your app settings, and your app store settings. The main types of handling are summarized below.

4. Information We Collect or Process
Depending on the app and features, the following information may be processed on your device, within Apple services such as Apple iCloud/CloudKit, in the app store, by us, or by third-party services needed to provide a feature.
Information that is stored only on your device and is not transmitted in a form that we or third parties can access is not information that we collect. However, when you use features such as syncing, backup, sharing, advertising, purchases, support, or AI-assisted features, information may be processed off your device.

- Identifiers (such as IP address, device identifiers, advertising ID, transaction IDs, and identifying information used for support)
- Advertising information (such as ad impressions, clicks, consent status, and ad-performance measurement data, where ads are included)
- Purchase and subscription information received from the app store
- Inquiry information (such as your email address, the content of your inquiry, any attachments, and our correspondence history)
- Records you create (such as text, photos, tags, ratings, inventory, costs, to-dos, collections, places, and notes)
- Information needed for the relevant features, such as camera, photos, video, barcodes, OCR, image generation, maps, weather, and location
- Health-adjacent information you choose to enter, such as records of condition, lifestyle, alcohol intake, a pet's condition, or skin status
- Usage of our website (anonymous statistics such as page views and link clicks)
5. Device Permissions and Your Controls
Our apps request device permissions only when they are needed for a feature. You can manage permissions and consent through your device settings, app settings, iCloud settings, app store settings, or the consent screens.

- Location: life logging, maps, walk records, recording places visited, and location-based context
- Notifications: reminders, billing dates, habit building, and maintenance schedules
- iCloud/CloudKit: data syncing, backup, and use across multiple Apple devices
- Ad tracking and ad consent: where we show ads, measure ad performance, or serve personalized ads

7. Sensitive Information and Health or Safety Information
In some apps, you can choose to record context such as alcohol intake, energy, sleep, skin status, symptoms, lifestyle, a pet's condition, and safety-related notes. These features are intended for personal logging and reflection. They are not intended for medical diagnosis, treatment, or prevention, veterinary diagnosis, fitness-to-drive decisions, legal-compliance decisions, or emergency decisions. If you have concerns about your health, alcohol use, a pet's health, driving, the law, or safety, please consult an appropriate professional.
8. Third-Party Services and Disclosure of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may process or share information through the following services or categories as needed for app features, store distribution, legal compliance, support, and security.
We may also disclose information as needed where required by law; to protect rights, property, safety, or security; to prevent fraud; in connection with a business transfer; or where you consent or instruct us to do so.

9. Advertising, Tracking, and Consent
Some apps may display ads. Where required by law or platform rules, we ask for consent through appropriate consent screens for OS tracking permission, ad personalization, cookies, local storage, and similar technologies. When we show Google AdMob ads to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, consent must be managed through a Google-certified consent management platform. Without consent, you may see non-personalized ads or no ads, depending on your region and the app.
10. Storage, Retention, and Deletion
Depending on the feature, records in an app may be stored on your device, in iCloud/CloudKit, in app store systems, or in systems used for support. We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including service operation, legal compliance, dispute resolution, security, fraud prevention, accounting, and support.
- App data on your device can usually be deleted using the delete feature in the app or by uninstalling the app
- Data in iCloud can usually be managed from your app settings, device settings, or iCloud settings
- App store purchase history is managed by each app store
- Support correspondence is retained only as needed to respond, keep records of our handling, and meet legal obligations
11. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, we cannot guarantee complete security for any transmission, processing, or electronic storage.
12. Your Rights and How to Make a Request
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, suspension of third-party provision, data portability, and disclosure of records of third-party provision. To make a request, please contact us and include the name of the relevant app, the details of your request, and an email address where we can reply.
We may ask you to provide information that is reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect your privacy. We will respond within a reasonable period in accordance with the law. The Services are not primarily directed at children under 13, or under the age at which parental consent is required where you live. 14. International Transfers
Your information may be processed outside your country of residence, including in Japan, the United States, and the countries or regions where Apple, Google, and other service providers operate. We take the measures required by applicable law for international transfers and processing by third parties.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page, and we will update the Last Updated date. Where significant changes require additional notice or consent, we will handle this in an appropriate way.
16. Language
This Privacy Policy may be provided in Japanese, English, and other languages. The Japanese version is the original. In the event of any conflict or difference between the versions, the Japanese version prevails to the extent permitted by applicable law.
